The Women's Business Clubs reserves the right to alter all Terms and Conditions relating to events and membership at any time with no prior notification to members or guests.
The Women's Business Clubs Premier Membership Terms and Conditions:
Membership year: One year from the date of acceptance of application, or payment of membership renewal fees.
Premier Membership and optional association with Premier Clubs
Membership is invited from any entrepreneur in business for themselves, or in a management or professional role within a company.
Premier Membership is NOT to a specific TWBC Premier Club unless defined at the time of application and acceptance, or association is requested and agreed with TWBC at a later date in writing. Premier Membership is a ‘stand alone’ membership that offers an optional association with a Premier Club.
Acceptance of Premier Membership, and acceptance of any Premier Membership association with a Premier Club is notified in writing to the applicant by The Women's Business Clubs. The final decision in any matters relating to Premier Membership rests entirely with The Women's Business Clubs. Association of membership with a TWBC Premier Club is available to current Premier Members only.
Premier Membership is for named individuals only and company/corporate membership is not available.
Premier Members can have their membership associated with one Premier Club within a membership year. In exceptional circumstances, TWBC may permit a Premier Member to transfer their memberships’ association to a second Premier Club, however this must be requested and agreed in writing, and is discretionary. TWBC’s decision on this matter is final.
Where a Premier Member wishes to associate their membership with a second club, concurrently, then a second full Premier Membership fee is payable.
Premier Membership is not transferable between different companies. Premier Membership is transferable between staff at the same company with the advance permission of The Women's Business Clubs only and where this occurs the incoming member is subject to TWBC terms and conditions as per the previous membership holder, and any outstanding invoices incurred by that previous membership holder.
Professional Exclusivity / Core business at Premier Clubs
Where a Premier Member has associated their membership with a Premier Club, members must represent a discipline that is their main business or represents a substantial part of their business activities, within the boundaries of a membership category/seat defined by TWBC, within that club.
In instances where a business provides more than one key product or service the member must focus on what they consider to be their ’core’ business activity, within the boundaries of a membership category/seat defined by TWBC within that club.
The specific membership category to be occupied by the incoming member at a Premier Club must be identified at the time of membership application and is defined by the Business Type section of the online membership application form on www.thewomensbusinessclubs.com or by verbal agreement with a TWBC staff member or agent and can only be redefined or altered with the agreement of The Women's Business Clubs.
Multiple Premier Club Associations
Where a Premier Member wishes to associate their membership with a second Premier Club, concurrently, then a second full Premier Membership fee is payable.
Premier Membership Fees and charging procedure
Membership fees are outlined on our Premier Membership Application Form and on our website (www.thewomensbusinessclubs.com) and are subject to alteration without prior notification. All membership fees are payable in full with initial application, however in the event of non acceptance of application they will be refunded immediately (within 5 working days). Membership period is one year from the date of acceptance of membership or payment of membership fees. (Membership year)
The yearly membership fee for existing members will be billed one month prior to the anniversary of the initial joining date. Membership fees must be paid in full by the anniversary date of the initial joining date.
Unless notice of membership cancellation is received in writing from the member TWBC charges Premier Members with their membership fee each year on the anniversary date of the initial joining date. This charge is made via a secure system utilising the Payment Method (credit/debit card) that you initially used when paying your joining membership, unless you have requested that we change this payment method in writing during the course of your membership.
TWBC assumes that Premier Memberships associated with a specific Premier Club will continue with that association, unless TWBC receives notice in writing that the association is to be discontinued, or the Premier Membership is to be cancelled.
You agree to pay TWBC all charges at the membership prices then in effect for the services and any Products ordered by you or other persons (including your agents) using your Payment Method and you authorise TWBC to charge your chosen payment method (your "Payment Method") for such Products and services. You agree to make payment using that selected Payment Method.
In the event that payment is not able to be charged or received by the anniversary date of the initial joining date, membership and association with the TWBC Premier Club will be deemed to have lapsed.
If the lapsed Premier Membership was associated with a specific Premier Club then the membership category/seat will be made available within the relevant Premier Club. A lapsed member will need to re-apply for Membership and a new membership fee and joining fee will need to be paid where applicable. If required, re-association of that Premier Membership with a specific Premier Club will also need to be requested at this time and is subject to availability, and is not a condition of TWBC Premier Membership which is a ‘stand alone’ membership.
All membership fees paid are non-refundable unless application of membership is rejected by The Women's Business Clubs at the time of initial application.
If the amount to be charged to your Payment Method varies from the amount you have preauthorised, you have the right to receive, and TWBC shall so provide, notice of the amount to be charged and the date of the charge at least 10 days before the scheduled date of the transaction.
Premier Club Meeting Fees / Event Fees and charging procedure
Where a Premier Membership is associated with a specific Premier Club payment for meeting fees for scheduled monthly meetings of the Premier Club are made by Standing Order each month on a credit or debit card eight working days prior to the meeting date. These meeting fees may be waived up to a maximum of three times per year, where the member notifies us in writing of non attendance a minimum of nine working days in advance of the affected monthly meeting. Until the Standing Order is established a member is required to pay meeting fees in advance of the Club meeting. Any fees for other events booked should be made to The Women's Business Clubs in advance of the event by cheque, debit or credit card as per the terms of the specific invoice.
Premier Club Attendance
Where a Premier Membership is associated with a specific Premier Club regular attendance to the Premier Club scheduled monthly meetings is crucial to the formation of the dynamic of the Club, hence members must be represented at as many of our monthly meetings as possible.
Bookings for Premier Members whose membership is associated with a specific Premier Club will automatically be made eight working days prior to each club meeting with an invoice raised and notification sent by email. Where a standing order has been established on a debit/credit card, the meeting fee will be charged at this time. Members may excuse themselves from a meeting by notifying The Women's Business Clubs directly in writing prior to this time (more than eight working days : 9+). However if no notice of non attendance has been received by The Women's Business Clubs, the booking will be made and invoice raised, and this is then a confirmed booking and must be paid for. We are unable to refund or alter Premier Club bookings after this the booking is made. Cancellations must be made in writing to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it "> This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please retain a copy for your records. Cancellations made and apologies given via our TWBC Club Hosts will not be accepted.
Where a Premier Membership is associated with a specific Premier Club members may be excused from three scheduled monthly meetings (of that specific Premier Club) in the course of a membership year and have their meetings fees waived for those meetings if they notify The Women's Business Clubs in writing a minimum of nine working days in advance of the affected monthly meeting. Additional absences from scheduled monthly meetings within the year will not have the meeting fees refunded.
Where a Premier Membership is associated with a specific Premier Club a named member must be present at a minimum of six of the meetings of their specified Premier Club during the course of a membership year.
A substitution may be supplied for three meetings, and a member may be not represented at a maximum of three other meetings in a membership year. If a member is not represented (with or without advanced notice) at four or more meetings within a membership year then they may forfeit their membership place at their Premier Club, and their Premier Membership will be disassociated from that specific club, and will continue as a non associated Premier Membership.
No portion of the Membership Fee is refundable in the event of a membership being terminated by The Women's Business Clubs, or in the event of member resignation. A lapsed or cancelled member will need to re-apply for Membership.
The Women's Business Clubs will endeavour to advise all members of dates of scheduled monthly meetings nine months to one year ahead to enable planning of diaries, however members are responsible for checking on the website www.thewomensbusinessclubs.com in order to ascertain advance dates for themselves.
Premier Club Substitutions
Substitutions are welcomed at Premier Club meetings; provided that the substitute is fully aware of the business activities of the Premier Member that they are representing and the substitutes main business activity does not conflict with an membership category occupied by an existing member within that club. Please note substitutions can only be made for a maximum 25% of the meetings within a membership year (3 meetings). In the event of a substitute attending, the meeting fee is still payable by Standing Order by the Premier Club member.
Premier Membership Cancellation/Termination of Membership
You may terminate your TWBC Premier Membership at any time, and notice needs to be given in writing to The Women's Business Clubs by conventional post or via email to

If however at the time of cancelling your membership you have already been booked into a meeting and fees paid or are due, no fees are refundable and due fees must be paid.
You may also disassociate your Premier Membership from a specified Premier Club, and continue with your Premier Membership at any time with written notice to The Women's Business Clubs If at the time of disassociating your membership you have already been booked into a meeting and fees paid or are due, no fees are refundable and due fees must be paid.
Termination, or cancellation of your membership, whether by you or TWBC, will not alter your obligation to pay all membership fees before such termination or cancellation (including charges made after termination, but before TWBC could reasonably act on your termination notice).
On cancellation of a Premier Membership no fees paid are refundable.
Members who wish to rejoin The Women's Business Clubs at any membership level must submit a new application and pay the Membership Fee with joining fee where applicable.
The Women's Business Clubs reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend and / or terminate your membership at any time, with or without notice for any breach of our Terms and Conditions or of any of the terms applicable to the services for which you are subscribed, or for any other reason. Should The Women's Business Clubs decide to terminate a member’s membership, no fees are refundable. Upon termination of your membership your right to use all member services immediately ceases.
Premier Membership Additional Terms & Conditions
Where a Premier Membership is associated with a specific Premier Club, and TWBC finds itself in the unlikely position of needing to discontinue that particular Premier Club entirely, your Premier Membership is automatically disassociated from that Premier Club. TWBC will offer you association with another suitable alternative Premier Club where possible. If a suitable alternative Club cannot be found your Premier Membership will continue with no associations with any Premier Clubs.
