We're always interested to receive high quality articles written by businesswomen that educate, inspire, uplift, support and motivate women who are starting, building or managing a business.
To help you make the most of this service we have some notes for you below.
What kind of articles are we looking for?
Those with business focus are always more popular with members and website visitors, so this is the area that we focus on. We are especially interested to receive articles about the following areas of business:
All aspects of marketing
Public relations & copywriting
Personal business stories/experiences/journeys
Leadership development
Social media & blogging
Financial management

Legal advice (T&C's, Partnership Agreements, health and safety etc)

Making presentations & public speaking
If your area of expertise is outside of these fields, then please continue to submit articles to us. Our members are women first and foremost and have interests and lives outside of business.

About the article
Your article needs to have a title. This is a very important aspect and will effect the number of people that read it.
Articles need to be over 500 words but a maximum of 1000 words. We don't check articles meticulously for these figures, but it's a good guideline for you.
All articles should be informative and original to you. We don't mind if you have published them elsewhere before, but we can't accept any advertisements or press releases as articles. If you want to submit a press release then it might be better to enter it under the Members News section of our website. We will review this when we receive your submission. Your article will contain a link back to your profile to maximise your promotional potential.
Making the most of your article
A very important part of your article, from a promotional point of view, is the information at the end about the author. That would be you! We would suggest that you have a short paragraph about yourself and perhaps some words about your business. Also don't forget to include your name, business name, email, and any other contact details including your social media contacts and your website. If you send us your logo then we will happily include it here for you as well.
When is your article published?
We will review your article within 48 hours. In order to give all articles maximum exposure and promotional opportunities we may not immediately publish your article. It could be that we have received a number of articles from different members at the same time, and so we may stagger article publication to ensure that they are fully exploited. We generally email members who have submit articles to let them know when they will be published.
And finally...
We hope that the notes here have helped you and that you are planning on sending us lots of articles in the near future. If writing an article still seems a little daunting then please do call us and we might be able to help you out. You can reach our Member Relations Manager on 01903 201100.
Dont forget, there is no restriction on the number of articles you can submit, so please keep sending them to us.![]()
