Our Hull Host: Maureen Foers OBE
Over the past 4 decades having established many business support companies, which included, both business and individual development activities. Comprehensive practical support for marketing strategies, including call centre services and mailing house facilities. I am well aware of the constant challenges that face those in business, especially in these turbulent times. Believing that experience is an asset that should be well utilised, I willingly share my knowledge, networks and experience with others to assist them and their businesses on their journey to success. In addition, my networking activities has given me many great opportunities to ‘crack glass ceilings’ with numerous ‘firsts’ for a woman in business. In 2001, a most humble recipient of the OBE, in the Queens Birthday Honours List, for services to small businesses. !
